<div>
<br /></div>
Hi lovelies,<br />
<div>
I'm always eager to try out makeup from around the world, especially brands that are hard to get a hold of here down under or brands that I have to pay an arm and a leg for! Through an instagram SFS, I met the lovely Jiawun from <a href="http://www.beautynerdbynight.com/" target="_blank">Beauty Nerd By Night</a> and we agreed to a makeup swap!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Keep reading to see what she picked up for me!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<a name='more'></a> Jiawun is from Malaysia so she has access to many Asian branded cosmetics that I wanted to try out. We agreed on a budget of $150AUD which we felt was a good amount considering the prices of makeup here and in Malaysia is so expensive! We agreed to send it at the end of August/ beginning of September to coincide with when she is in Australia to save on postage costs :). I received the package on Friday afternoon!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bKYTMqCI4_s/VfVoszF8HVI/AAAAAAAAANo/oad1wc0d1Gs/s1600/IMG_0074.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bKYTMqCI4_s/VfVoszF8HVI/AAAAAAAAANo/oad1wc0d1Gs/s1600/IMG_0074.JPG" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: xx-small; text-align: start;">Overview of everything that she picked up for me! </span></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
I was so excited while opening the package as everything was wrapped so nicely. Just for the record, her wrapping was perfect and everything was bubble wrapped so that nothing could break. She left cute little notes on all the products as well!<br />
<br />
Like Jiawun said, how can you have a Asian beauty swap without these sheet masks?! She picked up a few of her favourite masks for me. All these masks are new to me and I can't wait to give them a go. The ones in the picture below are; Kose Sekkisei Lotion Mask, Sasatinnie Red Wine Mask, Aloe Facial Mask and Black Pearl Brightening 3D Stretch Mask and Color Combos Skincare Honey Whitening Mask. The one I'm most excited about is the Black Peal 3D Mask (light blue packaging).<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Back to Front, L-R: Sasatinnie Aloe Facial Mask, Black Pearl Brightening 3D Stretch Mask, Color Combos Honey Mask, Sasatinnie Red Wine Mask. Front: Kose Sekkisei Lotion Mask</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This whole swap was about the Laneige BB Cushion that I've wanted to try out for the longest time. I told Jiawun about it and she was more than happy to pick one up for me :) Been stopping myself from dipping right into it so I could take photos of it first (blogger's life). She got it in the shade No.21 Natural Beige which looks to be a perfect much for my skin.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Laneige BB Cushion in shade No.21 Natural Beige</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
Jiawun and I both have a love for lip products, so it's no surprise that this swap had to include more than one lip product. I've got to say I absolutely fell in love with the packaging of these asian cosmetics. I've swatched all the products and she definitely picked out perfect colours for me. That green coloured lip crayon doesn't actually go on green, it changes to a pinky tinge on the lips, sort of like the Lipstick Queen Frog Prince lipstick.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-E170OKThXRg/VfVn0Y2jAZI/AAAAAAAAANc/_27ecHtXpRI/s1600/IMG_0070.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-E170OKThXRg/VfVn0Y2jAZI/AAAAAAAAANc/_27ecHtXpRI/s1600/IMG_0070.JPG" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">L-R: Peripera Peri's tint crayon in No.3 Fruity Mint, CLIO Tension Lip in Shade 12 Butter Kiss, Etude House Rosy tint Lips</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
Next up are eye products. Again the packaging on the Etude House Mascara is so cute and I'm a sucker for all things cute. Jiawun picked up two mascaras and an eyeliner for me. I haven't tried them yet but can't wait to give them a go as she highly recommends these products!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">L-R: Etude House Lash Perm Volume Mascara, The Face Shop Volumizing Mascara Ink Graffi Liquid Eyeliner<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
</div>
<div>
Next up are miscellaneous products (I know the eyeshadow is suppose to be part of eye products but I didn't take a photo of it with the rest of the eye products for some reason :S). More cute packaging, Etude House really know how to do packaging, it's so cute and girly! The blush is a light pink with gold reflect, already love it! What I really want to talk about is that eyeshadow. It's by a brand called Catrice that isn't available in Australia. It's so beautiful, it's a light gold/bronze colour and I fell in love with is after the first swatch. Jiawun also picked up two nail polishes for me, little does she know that purple is my favourite colour, so I'll be rocking those colours on my nails soon. The pastel purple is perfect for spring!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: right; margin-left: 1em; text-align: right;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Etude House Lovely Cookie Blush in Rose Sugar Macaron, Catrice Liquid Metal Eyeshadow in 020 Gold n' Roses and Etude House Nail Polish Duo</td></tr>

Jiawun really did spoil me with everything that she picked out for me. There isn't a single product that I don't like! <a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qso_2vfxFDU/Va9tzQG8UbI/AAAAAAAAALY/GZD19B2a6oU/s1600/IMG_9251.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qso_2vfxFDU/Va9tzQG8UbI/AAAAAAAAALY/GZD19B2a6oU/s1600/IMG_9251.PNG" /></a></div>
Hi lovelies,<br />
Body scrubs have been all the rage lately, and I've tried many but I've got to say, Keen Bean is my favourite by far, keep reading to find out why :)<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>WHAT IS IT?<div>
<br />We've seen many coffee scrubs on the market but what sets Keen Bean apart from other scrubs is that it's made from mung and soy beans rather than coffee beans. It also has the added benefits of almond oil and pearl barley which help to lock in moisture and brightening of the skin. It also contains vitamin E and brown sugar which are ingredients aimed at helping to tone, heal and relieve dry skin. Keen Bean is based in Sydney, Australia but they do ship internationally as well.<br />
<br />
PACKAGING/FIRST IMPRESSION<br />
<br />
The very first thing I noticed about Keen Bean when I opened it, was the lovely sweet watermelon scent. Anyone who knows me, knows that I love anything watermelon scented. So this was a big plus for me already. The scrub is wrapped inside tissue paper.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6lyDLfZm3mk/VcCr778WGCI/AAAAAAAAALs/ZTXnZdi68MQ/s1600/IMG_9253.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6lyDLfZm3mk/VcCr778WGCI/AAAAAAAAALs/ZTXnZdi68MQ/s1600/IMG_9253.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
PRODUCT REVIEW<br />
<br />
The scrub itself is brown with tiny white dots in it which i assume do the exfoliating. This works in the exact same way as other scrubs. You just wet your body and then rub the scrub all over the body and rinse off after 5-10 minutes. I've used this on my body and face and I can tell that it's amazing. Due to the cold weather in Australia, my skin was very dry but after my first use I felt like my skin was moisturised and softer, however there was an oily residue. It definitely does a great job at exfoliating and getting rid of blackheads on the face. I've been happily using this for the past month and I can tell you that my skin's texture has definitely improved. It's smoother and softer than it has ever been. My face feels more supple and I definitely have a brighter complexion.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-51d1yod-hB0/VcCr97d7liI/AAAAAAAAAL0/6aNVjvKM-sI/s1600/IMG_9254.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-51d1yod-hB0/VcCr97d7liI/AAAAAAAAAL0/6aNVjvKM-sI/s1600/IMG_9254.JPG" /></a><br />
<br />
I highly recommend this product for everyone, especially those people who love their coffee scrubs but hate the mess that it leaves behind! However, if you do have sensitivity to fragrance, I do recommend a patch test first to see how your skin holds up! Keen Bean body scrub can be purchased directly from their site <a href="http://www.keenbeanscrub.com/" target="_blank">here</a>.<br />
<br />
Let me know in the comments below what your favourite body scrubs are! :)<br />

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-IObneGNA_tQ/VYESJPgxjgI/AAAAAAAAAJw/IWmJNg92JMo/s1600/IMG_8463.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-IObneGNA_tQ/VYESJPgxjgI/AAAAAAAAAJw/IWmJNg92JMo/s1600/IMG_8463.PNG" /></a></div>
<br />
I know there have been many complaints about Gerard Cosmetics and theres been a bit of controversy surrounding the owner however today I have a positive review of their company and products. Let's begin shall we!<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>Recently Gerard Cosmetics launched powder highlighters which they've called "star powders" and being a highlighter junkie, I jumped right on the bandwagon and purchased the "powder couple" set which retails for $58USD at the moment. This set includes the highlighters in "Marilyn" and "Lucy" I used the code <span style="color: red;">"THANKYOU"</span> to get 50% off and free international shipping!<br />
<br />
I placed my order on the 28/05 and it was shipped the next day on the 29/05 and I received it on the 15/06 which is 11 business days so i have no complaints as their site does state "2-3 weeks outside of the US".<br />
<br />
I was worried about how they'd package the powders as I'm use to receiving my Gerard Cosmetics orders in those yellow padded envelopes. I had nothing to worry about on that front because the powders came wrapped and boxed so everything was intact when I received it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-fqcAzfDrvFw/VYEUS7_htOI/AAAAAAAAAKM/y8_gI4ToLsE/s1600/IMG_8461.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-fqcAzfDrvFw/VYEUS7_htOI/AAAAAAAAAKM/y8_gI4ToLsE/s1600/IMG_8461.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Now onto the actual products themselves.<br />
<br />
<b>PACKAGING:</b><br />
They come housed in a gold square compact with the GC logo on the top that looks pretty flashy but feels like cheap plastic, similar to their lipstick casing. I'm not a huge fan of the packaging as every time I touch it, it leaves fingerprint marks. Inside the compact there's a mirror so that's very convenient if you ever needed to touch-up while out. They has have a very sturdy plastic flap to protect the powders.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jRtO0LmKdik/VYEUKqeAaMI/AAAAAAAAAKA/Hr_3F9qZLuk/s1600/IMG_8462.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jRtO0LmKdik/VYEUKqeAaMI/AAAAAAAAAKA/Hr_3F9qZLuk/s1600/IMG_8462.JPG" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Left to Right: Marilyn and Lucy</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zydD4ww9elw/VYEUqo2CFEI/AAAAAAAAAKU/CYzgeiMvaYM/s1600/IMG_8464.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zydD4ww9elw/VYEUqo2CFEI/AAAAAAAAAKU/CYzgeiMvaYM/s1600/IMG_8464.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<b>PRODUCT:</b><br />
The GC logo is imprinted into each of the powders and I feel that this adds value to the powders, however with use the imprinting will eventually fade.<br />
Marilyn is described as being a <i>golden highlight</i>. The powder is velvety smooth and very pigmented. On my skintone (NC25-NC30) this worked perfectly as a highlight.<br />
Lucy is described as being a <i>rosy highlight with a hint of golden shimmer. </i>This powder is the same quality as Marilyn, just as pigmented and smooth! For me, this works beautifully over any matte blush. Now I'm eager to pick up the new highlighter they've just released, "Audrey".<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0iRGlQnA4QM/VYEUR-KSBiI/AAAAAAAAAKI/aNiZyFNweLE/s1600/IMG_8433.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0iRGlQnA4QM/VYEUR-KSBiI/AAAAAAAAAKI/aNiZyFNweLE/s1600/IMG_8433.jpg" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Top to bottom: Lucy and Marilyn</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
I highly recommend these highlighters to any highlighter aficionado out there, they're beautiful and with the discount, how can you say no? :)<br />

<br />
Being well and truly into June now and finally having some time to myself, I wanted to share my May Favourites with you guys. Keep reading to find out what I've been loving the past month :).<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>Base: Guerlain Meteorites Baby Flow<br />
This was a purchase mid May and I have been reaching for it so often. I love the light coverage and glow from within finish it gives. For those days when I don't have time to put on foundation I use this and apply it with my fingers. To me this is like a foundation/bb cream hybrid. You can find this online or instores at Myers or <a href="http://shop.davidjones.com.au/djs/en/davidjones/meteorites-baby-glow-foundation" target="_blank">David Jones</a> and it retails for $68<br />
<br />
Cheeks: Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips All-in-1 Custom Nude Palette for Face & Eyes<br />
I picked this up during the Priceline 40% off sale and didn't really touch it till last month. I use this more as a highlighter than anything else and it gives off a beautiful glow. The formula is so buttery and smooth. Definitely a happy addition to my collection of highlighters. You can purchase this at <a href="https://www.priceline.com.au/cosmetics/eyes/eyeshadow/shimmer-strip-all-in-1-custom-nude-palette-for-face-and-eyes-i-7.5-g" target="_blank">Priceline </a> (on sale at 40% off right now) or on <a href="http://www.iherb.com/?rcode=QSN035" target="_blank">iHerb</a><br />
<br />
Cheeks: Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer<br />
I have to admit that when I first swatched this bronzer, I hated it, it was way too shimmery, I didn't even bother trying it out on m face. After reading some reviews and talking to friends I decided to try it out on my face and I fell in love. It adds that perfect luminous warmth to my face and the shimmer doesn't transfer onto the face at all! Find it instores or online at <a href="http://mecca.com.au/hourglass/ambient-lighting-bronzer/V-021224.html" target="_blank">Mecca</a> for $65.<br />
<br />
Lips: YSL Volupte tint-in-oil in No.4 I Rose You<br />
This little baby has been my go to lip product all month! It has the most delicious scent and leaves behind a really nice stain. The shade No.4 is so natural and it's work appropriate. I use this on the mornings I don't have time for the precision of lipstick. I highly recommend this if you want to splurge as it does set you back $49 from YSL counters in <a href="http://www.myer.com.au/shop/mystore/women/makeup/lips/yves-saint-laurent-volupte-tint-in-oil--4-288282160" target="_blank">Myers</a> and <a href="http://shop.davidjones.com.au/djs/en/davidjones/volupte-tint-in-oil" target="_blank">David Jones</a> or online from <a href="http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/yves-saint-laurent/yves-saint-laurent-volupte-tint-in-oil.html" target="_blank">Adore Beauty</a>.<br />
<br />
Lips: Too Faced Melted Lipsticks in Chihuahua<br />
On days when I wasn't using my YSL tint-in-oil I used this Too Faced Melted Lipstick. This is the perfect complement to my everyday face and its so easy to apply. It goes on super smoothly and isn't streaky. Definitely check out the full Too Faced Melted Lipstick range if you haven't already at your local Mecca counter, Kit Cosmetics counter or <a href="http://mecca.com.au/too-faced/melted-lipstick/V-018759.html" target="_blank">online</a> for $28.<br />
<br />
Fragrance: Giorgio Armani Aquca Di Gioia EDP<br />
I picked up a few new fragrances last month but this one has been a definite favourite. It's a super fresh scent that isn't too overpowering and lasts all day leaving a subtle scent as the day goes on. I highly recommend this fragrance to anyone who loves fresh scents, have a smell of it next time you're in Myers or David Jones.<br />
<br />
Let me know in the comments below what you have been loving the past month :)<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hello my lovelies, it's been a while since I've blogged and what better way to come back then with a haul post! iHerb recently had 20% off Real techniques so I took that as an opportunity to pick up more brushes as well as some other bits and pieces. Keep reading to find out what I picked up.</div>
<a name='more'></a>Firstly, I checked out the Real Techniques brand and after adding and removing brushes from my cart, I decided to go with the Nic's Picks set. I have been eyeing this set for a while and at 20% off it came down to $31.22AUD.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HtEUe6PD2zk/VXrmdIXx0nI/AAAAAAAAAIY/R24esciHgu0/s1600/IMG_8390.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HtEUe6PD2zk/VXrmdIXx0nI/AAAAAAAAAIY/R24esciHgu0/s1600/IMG_8390.JPG" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I had to spend over $51AUD for free shipping so that gave me an excuse to check out other brands as well! After watching KathleenLights on youtube I knew I needed to pick up some E.L.F products. The products are so affordable, but most of the brushes that she recommended were out of stock but i did manage to get a mineral powder brush from the studio line for $3.90AUD and also one of her most raved about products, the E.L.F. HD undereye setting powder also $3.90AUD. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both;">
From my constant youtubing I also knew that Physician's Formula had released a new foundation, "Touch of Glow". After watching Saaammage on youtube, I decided to give it a go. I also fell in love with the packaging! How can anyone say no to that beautiful bottle?? The foundation set me back $18.73AUD. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I love shopping on iHerb because their service is so efficient. I placed my order June 4th and my order was shipped the next day. I received my order a week later on June 11th. How's that for fast service! iHerb orders are delivered by Australia Post however you can pay a bit more for express shipping by DHL. If you're going to make your first order with iHerb use my code, <span style="color: red; font-weight: bold;">QSN035 </span>or follow this <a href="http://www.iherb.com/?rcode=QSN035" target="_blank">link</a>. The code entitles first time customers to $10 off orders of $40USD+ or $5 off orders less than $40USD. </div>

<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ubLt0XkFQDs/VSRwLcc7A5I/AAAAAAAAAHU/V-qoJAhevsQ/s1600/IMG_7462.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ubLt0XkFQDs/VSRwLcc7A5I/AAAAAAAAAHU/V-qoJAhevsQ/s1600/IMG_7462.jpg" height="200" width="150" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">LUSH Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Mask</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
Recently my skin has been playing up some much, break outs, redness, dry patches, you name it, I've experienced it. Once I got the dryness and break outs under control, all I needed was something to soothe my skin. So off to LUSH I went looking for a face mask. After telling the sales assistant a little about my skin she recommended the Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask. After using this mask 4 times now, it's time I do a little review on it.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>This mask claims to reduce inflammation thanks to the blueberries and the chamomile, Irish moss and almond oil work with the calamine to gently cleanse the skin.<br />
<br />
Personally I have found this mask to be absolutely amazing! I love it so much, it leaves my skin feeling revitalised afterwards and most importantly it takes care of the redness on my cheek area. I leave the mask on till it dries (10-15 minutes) then rinse it off with warm water.<br />
<br />
PROS:<br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>Natural ingredients</li>
<li>Not tested on animals</li>
<li>Doesn't irritate my skin or dry it out</li>
<li>Smells like blueberries</li>
</ul>
<div>
CONS:</div>
<div>
<ul>
<li>Has to be used within 3 weeks</li>
<li>Packaging is annoying as you have to scoop out the product</li>
</ul>
<div>
Highly recommend this to anyone whose skin is acting up. You can pick this mask up at any LUSH store or <a href="https://www.lush.com.au/shop/product/product&product_id=72" target="_blank">online</a> for $16.95. Have you tried any of the LUSH fresh masks? Leave your recommendations in the comments below :)</div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">L-R: Byphasse Micellaire Makeup Remover Solution, Bioderma Sensibio Micelle Solution, Garnier Micellar All in One Cleansing Water<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
The past year or so micellar waters have really burst onto the beauty scene. Known as a beauty miracle, they help to remove makeup without making the face feel oily and leaving the face feeling fresh, cleaned and hydrated. They work due to the micelles (tiny molecules) attaching themselves to the dirt, impurities and makeup on the skin. The best part, you don't have to rinse your face after!<br />
<br />
Today I have 3 Micellar Waters on the market in Australia to review for you.<br />
<br />
<b><u>Bioderma Sensibio Micelle Solution</u></b><br />
<b><br /></b>
I was introduced to this by one of my friends from Hong Kong early in 2014 and needless to say i have been using it religiously. It's a cult favourite among beauty bloggers and I can see why. This is truly a miracle worker, it removes waterproof makeup without leaving a trace behind and leaves the face feeling refreshed. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and it's gentle on the eye area. I definitely recommend this however it is quite pricey in Australia. It retails for $39.99 at <a href="https://www.priceline.com.au/index.php/skincare/face-care/facial-cleansers-and-scrubs/sensibio-h2o-micelle-solution-500.0-ml" target="_blank">Priceline</a> for 500mL. If you have friends in Hong Kong or are travelling there yourself, definitely stock up, it will set you back only $15-$20 after conversion.<br />
<br />
<b><u>Garnier Micellar All in One Cleansing Water </u></b><br />
<b><u><br /></u></b>
Garnier released their own version of the micellar water early-mid 2014 and its been a hit with many beauty bloggers and beauty gurus. This micellar water does the same job as the Bioderma but at a fraction of the price. I do find the the Garnier does not remove makeup as effectively and it's not as gentle on the eye area however it gets the job done. For its price of $10.69 at <a href="http://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/product.asp?id=71894&pname=Garnier+Micellar+All+In+One+Cleansing+Water+400ml" target="_blank">Chemist Warehouse</a> for 400mL, I say this is well worth the investment if you don't want to pay an arm and a leg for the Bioderma.<br />
<br />
<b><u>Byphasse Micellaire Makeup Remover Solution</u></b><br />
<b><u><br /></u></b>
This is by far my least favourite micellar water of all. Although it does its job of removing makeup, I can not stand the smell! Every time I open the bottle there's a weird chemical like smell. I'm not sure if I picked up a dud bottle or not but I wouldn't take my chances with a second bottle any time soon. I have seen some very promising reviews so give it a go if you're in the market for a new micellar water to try out. The brand is exclusive to <a href="http://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/product.asp?id=71356&pname=Byphasse+Micellaire+Makeup+Remover+Solution+500ml" target="_blank">Chemist Warehouse</a> and retails for $4.99 for 500mL.<br />
<br />
Let me know in the comments below if you've tried any micellar waters and which is your favourite.<br />

I know this post is late but better late than never right? It's been a busy month so my favourites for this month are low maintenance that give me that glow even when I feel half dead!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-T9c9cZCvJ3U/VNNgB6W7IJI/AAAAAAAAADw/r4Kae6IabAA/s1600/IMG_6738.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-T9c9cZCvJ3U/VNNgB6W7IJI/AAAAAAAAADw/r4Kae6IabAA/s1600/IMG_6738.PNG" height="200" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>Base: Smashbox Camera Ready BB cream<br />
This bb cream is heaven in a tube for me. On days when I'm in a hurry and don't have time for foundation this is my go to. It has SPF35 so I don't have to worry about applying sunscreen under. It lasts all day and really evens out my skintone. Definitely a time saver! You can find this at <a href="http://mecca.com.au/smashbox/camera-ready-bb-cream-spf/V-013170.html" target="_blank">Mecca</a> or Kit Cosmetics.<br />
<br />
Cheeks: Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso<br />
I can see why these blushes are raved about by so many beauty gurus, they are amazeballs! My favourite would have to be Luminoso and it's been the shade that I've reached for most of January. It gives the perfect glow to my face and makes me look awake. You can find it on <a href="http://bluescandal.com/Milani-Baked-Blush/" target="_blank">Bluescandal</a> for $9.99USD, use code MAKEUP for 25% off.<br />
<br />
Lips: Tom Ford Lips & Boys in the shade Richard <i>(limited edition)</i><br />
This has been my go to colour all of January. It's a mauvey pink colour and its just the perfect finish to any look. It applies like a dream and lasts 6-8 hours. It's creamy and doesn't stick to the dry parts of my lips or settle into the cracks. When I'm in a hurry in the morning and can't decide on a lipstick, I always grab for this one. This was limited edition so if you're able to find it, definitely consider buying it!<br />
<br />
Undereyes: BareMinerals Stroke of Light Eye Brightener in No.2 Luminous<br />
This is a godsend for me. On those days when I'm half dead and look like a zombie, I apply this under my eyes and it instantly brightens the area. This by no means is a concealer so if you have really dark undereye circles this will not cover them. You can find this at <a href="http://mecca.com.au/bareminerals/stroke-of-light-eye-brightener/V-014532.html#start=1" target="_blank">Mecca</a> or Kit Cosmetics.<br />
<br />
Eyes: Mascara - W7 Lashtastic<br />
I've seen this mascara every time i walk through a Chemist Warehouse but never gave it a second look. One day my friend had the most amazing long voluminous eyelashes and she told me it was this mascara that she was using. Needless to say, the W7 Lashtastic mascara along with 2 other W7 mascaras came home with me on my next shopping trip. This mascara is amazing, it gives my short asian lashes so much length! Definitely worth a look at and at only $4.99 it won't break the bank.<br />
<br />
That's my favourites for the month of January. Tell me what your favourites were or if you've tried any of these and whether you loved or hated them :)<br />

</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
2014 has been a big year! It was the year where I really got into beauty and started my Instagram @beautywithangelaa as well as this blog, even though I haven't blogged regularly. One of my new year's resolution is to keep this blog up and running in 2015!<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So as this year draws to an end, I'd like to share with you my favourite beauty products that I've discovered over the past 12 months from makeup to skincare to haircare.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /></div>
<div>
<u><b><br /></b></u></div>
<div>
<u><b>MAKEUP</b></u></div>
<div>
<u><b><br /></b></u></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-efxE2L8IDX0/VKN4R6UvWvI/AAAAAAAAACk/WJZO5nyqk3A/s1600/IMG_6409.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-efxE2L8IDX0/VKN4R6UvWvI/AAAAAAAAACk/WJZO5nyqk3A/s1600/IMG_6409.JPG" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<u><b><br /></b></u></div>
<div>
This year I discovered so many new brands of makeup and I watched my tiny collection grow and grow. I decided to take a course in Makeup and Skincare during my spare time so that i was more familiar with the products I was using as well as meeting other girls (and boys) who shared my interest. I felt like I was buying new products every week to try. Some were hits and some were misses.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<i>Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum</i></div>
<div>
After hearing so many people rave about the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum, I decided to pick it up and give it a go. I use shade 53 Light Beige and it's a perfect match. I'd say this is a light-medium coverage foundation, it goes on smoothly and lasts all day. It looks very natural when on and I don't feel like I have anything on my face! Definitely one of my greatest buys in 2014.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<i>L'oreal True Match</i></div>
<div>
Another foundation that I also picked up was the L'oreal Paris True Match foundation in W4 golden Natural. This is one of my newer purchases but I'm already in love and can see why so many beauty gurus rave about it! However I do find that the shade I have is very yellow toned when first applied but blends out beautifully. It's a medium-full coverage foundation but doesn't feel heavy on the skin at all. If you're after a new foundation definitely give this one a go!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<i>Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks</i></div>
<div>
Next up are the Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks. I never really looked into these because the price of Australian cosmetics is so expensive but when Mecca lowered their prices and when the Christmas set came out I couldn't resist and picked up the set of four mini ones. Its safe to say that it was a worthy investment as I love them so much! They glide on the lips smoothly and don't tug. The darker shades left a nice stain after a few hours. Love love love!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<i>Makeup Geek Eyeshadows</i></div>
<div>
My all time favourite eyeshadows are Makeup Geek eyeshadow pans! I love that I can pick the colours I want and custom design my own palette. It's also inexpensive compared to MAC and shipping to Australia isn't ridiculous. The shadows are so pigmented and buttery. I find myself reaching for them more than any other shadows that I own. So glad I found out about this company and I will definitely be adding more to my collection!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<i>Sigma Flat Top Kabuki F80</i></div>
<div>
My favourite tool to apply my foundation is the Sigma Flat kabuki F80. I have no words to describe how much I love this brush, definitely HG. I have 3 of them in my collection. It buffs in my foundation beautifully for that perfect finish. I would recommend this brush to everyone! It's a worthwhile investment!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><u>SKINCARE</u></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Qyj7gMqZgdM/VKN43hlojOI/AAAAAAAAACs/6WxEYx6RyMo/s1600/IMG_6411.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Qyj7gMqZgdM/VKN43hlojOI/AAAAAAAAACs/6WxEYx6RyMo/s1600/IMG_6411.JPG" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<b><u><br /></u></b></div>
<div>
<b><u><br /></u></b></div>
<div>
My greatest problem in 2014 was my skin. I found that throughout the year my skin was always flaking and I was on the search for the perfect moisturiser. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<i>Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream</i></div>
<div>
Currently I am using the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream and it's amazing. It kept my skin moisturised throughout winter and got rid of all those flaky bits on my cheek and forehead. Definitely repurchasing when I finish.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<i>Soap & Glory The Daily Smooth body butter</i></div>
<div>
For the dry skin on my body I have been loving Soap & Glory The Daily Smooth body butter. It smells amazing and keeps my body moisturised. What more could you want!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<i>Mecca Cosmetica To Save Face Sunscreen</i></div>
<div>
One day I was shopping at Mecca Cosmetica and decided to try out the To Save Face Sunscreen and it felt amazing on the skin so i picked up at tube. You can read my thoughts about it <a href="http://beautywithangelaa.blogspot.com.au/2014/09/summer-saviour-mecca-cosmetica-to-save.html" target="_blank">here</a>.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><u>HAIRCARE</u></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GAGyUum6wC0/VKN7oHJhFTI/AAAAAAAAAC4/fyRhsBmTur0/s1600/IMG_6407.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GAGyUum6wC0/VKN7oHJhFTI/AAAAAAAAAC4/fyRhsBmTur0/s1600/IMG_6407.JPG" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<b><u><br /></u></b></div>
<div>
<i>The Macadamia Natural Company</i></div>
<div>
There is one brand of hair products that I can not recommend enough, the Macadamia Natural company. I love all their products. The Natural Oil Rejuvenating Shampoo and the Natural Oil Moisturising Rinse Conditioner have saved my dry hair. I can not recommend this brand enough and I'm so glad that I discovered them in 2014. My hair is definitely thankful!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
That sums up my 2014 favourites. Hope you all have a wonderful new year and may 2015 bring you great joy, happiness and you achieve all your goals :)</div>

It's been a hectic week full of assessments for me but today I finally have time to write about my first IMATS experience and what I bought!<br />
<br />
I got to experience my first IMATS with my good friend Jody and considering the amount we spent combined, it's safe to say we encourage each other to spend but I'm not complaining!<br />
<br />
This year IMATS was held at Moore Park at the Royal Hall of industries because the Sydney Exhibition Centre (where it is usually held) is a pile of rubble right now.<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
The doors opened at 8:30 but Jody and I didn't get in till around 9:30. I rushed off to Hakuhodo straight away because I was scared they'd sell out! I picked up the two eye brushes that were on my list. They ended up being $24AUD each. The lines at Hakuhodo were very orderly and I felt like I was able to get what I wanted without having to push and shove! If you're after their brushes you can get it off their website linked <a href="http://www.hakuhodousa.com/" target="_blank">here</a> and it a flat rate of $14USD shipping.<br />
<br />

<br />
Next up was Makeupnet who were selling Limecrime! This booth was harder to shop at as there wasn't really a line, it was just whoever got the sale assistants' attention. I managed to pick up two lipsticks in Coquette and Glamour 101 and the eyeshadow helper. They were $18 each! Check out their website <a href="http://www.makeupnet.com.au/" target="_blank">here</a>. They currently have free express shipping for all Australian orders!<br />

<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Q3D_QLJBgAw/VCV0RDrNe8I/AAAAAAAAAB4/IML8c4QLqOI/s1600/IMG_5381.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Q3D_QLJBgAw/VCV0RDrNe8I/AAAAAAAAAB4/IML8c4QLqOI/s1600/IMG_5381.JPG" height="320" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Lime Crime products ( Left: Coquette, Right: Glamour101, Front: Eyeshadow helper)</td></tr>

<br />
I then braved the M.A.C crowd! With M.A.C, getting your products wasn't a problem but was paying for the products, the line went right around the whole booth and it took me a good 45 minutes before I got to the front. M.A.C had 20% off all their products and were sold out of the lipsticks and paint pot I wanted but I managed to pick up a Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade for $37.60!<br />

<br />
The one thing I really wanted to try at IMATS was Make Up Forever and PM studio was selling the entire line at 30% off. I picked up the HD Primer, HD Foundation in 120 Soft Sand and the Full Cover concealer in no. 5. PM studio had a system where we'd tell the sale assistants what we wanted and they'd put it in a basket then give us a number and we'd go to the counter to pay and collect our goodies! Check out their website <a href="http://www.pmstudio.com.au/" target="_blank">here</a>. They stock Make Up Forever and IT cosmetics which are super hard to find in Australia.<br />

Next was a cute little booth called Rouche Boutique! Loved the customer service at this stall, they were so nice and orderly! I picked up a small Z palette (~$11.00) and a Shanghai Suzy lipstick in Miss Leah Baby Coco ($11.40). Definitely pay their site a visit <a href="http://roucheboutique.com.au/" target="_blank">here</a> as they have 15% off at the moment ending 27/09/2014 with code "POSTSALE".<br />

Before leaving I stopped by Royal and Langnickel and picked up Bent liner brush ($2.50) and a kabuki brush for $7.00! Should have stocked up on more brushes, the prices were hard to beat! Again it was very orderly at this store and i was in and out fairly quickly!<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

All in all it was a great experience and I'm glad I got to experience it with a fellow makeup lover :)<br />

Personally I look for a sunscreen that is high in SPF, non greasy and dries matte. I have found all this in the Mecca Cosmetics To Save Face sunscreen.<br />
<br />
Claims:<br />
<i>"<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;">The original beauty sunscreen, To Save Face SPF 30 Facial Sunscreen, provides broad spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays in a hydrating matte finish cream. Containing SPF 30 with hyaluronic acid, pomegranate extract and vitamin E in a non-oily and non-whitening formula, this weightless SPF formula acts as the perfect makeup base while preventing premature ageing caused by the damaging effects of the sun."</span></i><br />

This sunscreen creates the perfect base for my makeup to go on, it dries matte almost instantly (perfect for you oilier skinned ladies) so I can go on with my makeup routine without having to wait. It is extremely light-weight, you won't even feel it on your face guaranteed! After using it, I didn't feel that it dried out my face at all or clog my pores. It has a faint fragrant scent to it rather than your usually sunscreen smell and I find it pleasing, however if you're sensitive to smell you might not like this.<br />
<br />
I can't rave about this product enough, it's everything I've been looking for in a sunscreen. However, it is on the pricier side, $45 for 100mL. However I totally think it's worth it especially in the warmer months when you want something weightless that doesn't melt off your face in the hot weather.<br />
